The Discipleship Training school is a free training course designed to challenge and equip Christians to faithfully join God in His mission to make disciples of all nations.
It is our prayer that God would use this material to equip His people for His service by the power of His spirit. We don't want people to just learn about discipleship. We want people to actively become disciple-making disciples to bring people to Jesus and closer to Jesus. Over the nine weeks, we will be covering the following material.

2 - WHY WE SHOULD MAKE DISCIPLES & WHY WE DON'T
In the first session we established that all Christians are called to be disciple-makers. In reality, this is wasn't what we observe within the Christian community.
In this session, we look at the reasons why disciple-making should be a normal part of our everyday Christianity. The fact that it is not the normal practice for many Christians, means we also need to address the reasons why disciple-making is not the everyday norm for many.

3 - HEART VALUES FOR DISCIPLE MAKERS
Everything we do is an expression of what is in our heart. This is why the Bible says to guard your heart with all diligence because out of it flow the issues of life.
This means that if we are to be effective disciple-makers, we need to foster a love for things that are conducive for disciple making.

4 - HEALTHY HABITS FOR DISCIPLE-MAKERS
For something to become part of your everyday rhythm of life, you need to establish healthy habits that support the practice of disciple-making.

5 - JESUS - THE MODEL OF DISCIPLE-MAKING
OK. The secret is out. I don't have some new fandangle technique for making disciples - nor do I need to. We look to Jesus as the model for our disciple-making practices. It may seem pretty basic but as Jesus poured his life into twelve people and charged them with the task of making disciples of all nations, they changed the world.

6 - THE HOW OF DISCIPLESHIP / DISCIPLE-MAKING (PART 1)
If you're impatient like me, this may be the session you've been waiting for as we begin to unpack the actual practice of making disciples. However, we NEED the foundations of the previous sessions.
We need also keep in mind, that no technique, skill or giftedness will change a single person. When Jesus outlined his mission for his disciples he also said "wait here until you receive power" (the coming of the Holy Spirit). We too need to be people led by, enabled and depending upon the Spirit of God who lives within us.
